Welcoming Product Designer, Jesus Brazon (JB)

A note from Tim Hasse, Principal at Trim Agency: One look at JB’s work, and it is evident that he is a craftsman who has found his voice in art direction and all things design. A clean, solidified style, combined with his startup background are a unique find in South Florida, and the right formula to further beautiful, functional product design at Trim.

My name is JB and I’m joining Trim as a Product Designer. (Ed note: Or as we know him, “coffee-maker/designer/UI/funny guy”).

I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela and now I live in Miami, usually an easy commute to FAT Village. Before joining Trim, I was the Co-Founder and Art Director of Meme Menu, which produces and curates beautiful photos of restaurant dishes.

Last year I joined Wyncode Cohort II at Wynwood. I was coding already before Wyncode, but just on the front end. I was intrigued about how web apps are built and wanted to learn how to build them myself.

Now, I’m happy to be here at Trim because I love to solve business problems with design. When I’m not trying to make the web a more beautiful and usable place, you can find me drinking coffee, surfing, or tinkering with my cars – a Range Rover Classic ’93 and a Honda CB 350 ‘73.

Welcoming Product Strategist, Kim Kadiyala

A note from Tim Hasse, Principal at Trim Agency: Kim Kadiyala has led strategy for some of the brightest startups at Techstars Boston, wrote her master’s thesis on co-working at one of the world’s most innovative universities (Hyper Island in the UK), and has given a TEDx talk in the Cayman Islands. She brings world-class startup experience and a love of building collaborative communities to our startup studio…A serendipitous skill set for leading product research and strategy at the Director level.

I’m Kim Kadiyala and I’m so excited to be working at Trim on product strategy. I’m a very new South Florida transplant, by way of Wisconsin, Chicago, Boston, the Caribbean and the UK (whew!). My background is in digital media strategy, working for giants like SC Johnson and Disney, and the badass agile startups of Techstars.

Over the past two years, I got really interested in how startup founders can benefit from creative workspaces and how those spaces can be designed to accelerate productivity. That curiosity led me from research, to an ebook, a TEDx talk and to starting the Cayman Island’s first coworking collective, Cowork Cayman.

When I decided to move to Fort Lauderdale, I figured I’d join a coworking space and keep on with my consulting business. But when I found General Provision and realized that the space is powered by an agile app and development shop, I emailed Tim and pretty much begged him to meet with me.

So here I am 🙂

When I’m not uncovering new content, platform and audience opportunities for our clients, you can find me fitnessing, eating pizza with my husband, or talking about my nephews.

Join Kim and build apps with us at Trim – we’re hiring! (Don’t worry, we don’t only hire people with names that rhyme with Trim.)
